Common questions
Which frameworks can I run?
Any Node.js server that listens on process.env.PORT and process.env.HOST: Express, Fastify, Koa, NestJS, a Next.js or Nuxt production server, Socket.IO apps and more.
How do I install packages?
Upload your package.json and click npm install on the App tab, or add packages by name there. There's no need for SSH.
Can I run a build step?
Yes — run any script from your package.json (for example npm run build) from the App tab, then restart the app.
Do I need a separate plan for a database?
No. MySQL/MariaDB databases are included in every plan (1 to 30 depending on plan), and Redis on Standard and above.
Can I host PHP and Node.js on the same account?
Yes. Each website has its own plan and type — a WordPress site, a Laravel app and a Node.js API can live side by side.
